Abstract With the advancement of laparoscopic skills and technology, the minimally invasive approach was applied to many open procedures, including cystogastrostomy. With accumulating data and increased experience, Three Trocars of Anterior approach of Laparoscopic cystogastrostomy is used for management of large, rapid enlarging and Symptomatic cysts. Three Trocars Anterior approach of Laparoscopic cystogastrostomy is very useful and handful in treatment of large pancreatic pseudocyst cases. This study includes 15 patients in whom Laparoscopic cystogastrostomy is indicated as a line of treatment symptomatic large pancreatic pseudocyst more than 6 cm . All of the patients were operated under general anaesthesia after preoperative investigations, preparations and appropriate criteria. CT abdomen with contrast is the gold standard investigation in detection morphology, site and size of pancreatic pseudocyst. Conversion rates from laparoscopic to open cystogastrostomy are decreased frequency with growing experience. Almost all cases requiring conversion are due to intraoperative hemorrhage. Three Trocars of Anterior approach of Laparoscopic cystogastrostomy with pancreatic debridement is feasible, highly effective, and safe in our limited number of patients. |
