Abstract Myringoplasty is the definite treatment of tympanic membrane perforation. Our aim is complete closure with satisfactory hearing results. In our study we compared two groups each one is 30 patients with tympanic membrane perforation. In group “I” , we used the endoscopic technique in myringoplasty and in group “II” , we used the classical microscopic one. We excluded subtotal or marginal perforation. There was no need for canaloplasty in all 60 patients For the graft take rate , 27 (90%) patients had a successful outcome in the endoscopic group and 26 (86.67%) patients had a successful outcome in the microscopic group. |
