Abstract

Detection and measurement of the strip root perforation is a challenging task so the aim of the current study was to assess:
The accuracy of the digital periapical radiography (with and without) using contrast medium and CBCT (with and without) using contrast medium in the detection of strip root perforation in the mesio-lingual root canal of the mandibular molars.
The accuracy of the digital periapical radiography (with and without) using contrast medium and CBCT (with and without) using contrast medium in the length measurement of the strip root perforation in the mesio-lingual root canal of the mandibular molars.
