Aims Of the Research: The aim of the research was to measure the effectiveness of such surveying model in geography for the development of some of the thinking skills and spatial perception of secondary students. The Study Procedures: The research tools and materials were presented as follows: •Prepare a list of the imaginative thinking skills required for the development of first grade secondary students. •Develop a list of spatial cognitive skills required for the development of first grade secondary students •Preparing a teacher’s guide for the ”Climate, Plant and Animal Life” units in Egypt, the population of Egypt. •Preparation of the activity booklet and contain a range of activities that contribute to the development of imaginative thinking skills and visual perception spatial. Building study tools consisting of a test of imaginative thinking and a test of spatial visual perception. •Identify the basic study sample and divide it into two groups (experimental and control).•Apply the study tools to the research sample (experimental an control)•Teaching the two units (climate in Egypt, the population of Egypt) according to suchman model of the experimental group, in the usual way of the control group • Apply the study tools to the research sample (experimental, control)•To calculate the effectiveness of such a survey type, the data will be processed using appropriate statistical methods according to the size of the research sample and the nature of the variables.•Discuss and interpret the resultsMake recommendations and proposals in light of the results.
