Abstract Angular distributions of the differential cross section of charged pions elastic and inelastic scattering from 28Si, 32S and 40Ca targets and positive kaons elastic and inelastic from 12C and 40Ca targets have been analyzed using the nuclear optical potential model. The real part of the nuclear optical potential is calculated in the framework of the alphaclustering single folding (SF) model where the folding calculations are based on the alpha-cluster structure of the targets with the imaginary part which is taken in a phenomenological Woods-Saxon form. The effective pion-alpha or kaon-alpha interaction is taken in the Gaussian form and the nuclear density is taken in a cluster form. The elastic scattering has been carried out for + 28Si at energies |
