Abstract
from the result of this study we can conclude that spironolactone 5% gel is effective in acne vulgaris with slightly better effect on non-inflammatory lesions with onset of results as early as 4 weeks.
Topical spironolactone 5% gel is safe to use with minimal local adverse reactions.
