Abstract To detect ANXA1 immunohistochemical expression in normal tongue mucosa and chemically induced epithelial dysplasia and OSCC. To detect ANXA1 concentration in saliva of normal and induced rats and correlate this concentration with its immunohistochemical expression in normal tongue mucosa as well as dysplasia and OSCC, to point out the feasibility of using salivary ANXA1 as a non-invasive biomarker for early oral cancer detection. |
