المستخلص Cotton in Egypt and Sudan was one of the most important crops. It was the main foreign exchange earner contributing considerably to foreign exchange proceeds. More than hundred thousands families in Egypt and Sudan were depending on cotton for earning their livelihood, so many are still depending on it. Several thousands are engaged in cotton related activities. The strong contribution of the crop to the agricultural, industrial, and services sectors is well recognized.1 |
