Abstract The present study was designed to: 1- Investigate the histological structure of the submandibular salivary gland in autistic rats. 2- Determine the effect of camel milk on the histology of the submandibular salivary gland in normal and autistic rats. 3- Determine the effect of leptin hormone on the histology of the submandibular salivary gland in normal and autistic rats. 4- Evaluate the effect of camel milk and leptin hormone on basic proteins and histones and inflammatory cytokines in normal and autistic rats. 5- And finally, to explore the possible therapeutic effect of camel milk and leptin hormone supplementation on autism. |
