Abstract
The aim of the present study is to compare the anesthetic efficacy of inferior alveolar nerve block injection with 2% mepivacaine to that of 4% articaine in patients with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis in their mandibular molars during access cavity preparation and root canal instrumentation utilizing a numerical rating scale (NRS).
