Abstract Background: Psychosocial adjustment and positive adaptation of lifestyle, is an important aspect of optimum management of any chronic condition, and acceptable quality of life. Therefore, the primary nursing care has a positive impact on patient’s psychological skills, which is assisted by additional support and significant adjustment. Aim: To assess the adjustment patterns among diabetic patients. Design/Methods: A descriptive research was used. Purposeful sample (60) of diabetics’ patients, data were collected by an adopted tool “Interviewing questionnaire for adjustment pattern among diabetic patients type II” it consists of five parts; Socio-demographic characteristics and health status, psychosocial problems, psychosocial adjustment patterns, MSPSSand DAS. Results: finding revealed that, the majority of the sample is in highly psychosocial adjustment level, more than half of sample are used much psychosocial adjustment patterns, and the majority of them have higher perceived social support. Besides, the majority have good physical daily living activities. Recommendation: Incorporating to maintain the emotional, behavioral and physiological features for diabetics’ patients throughout routine diabetes care management and education, sustain the active behavioral strategies (social and psychosocial, cultural habits), and keep a range of coping strategies to address diabetes-related life stressors.
