المستخلص Introduction: Autism disorder is one of the most complex and intensive of developmental disorders’ types, which has a severe impact on the development of the individual and his family and the community in which he lives as a result of imposed on the child of dysfunction consequent evolutionary growth stopped in most of the fields associated with language and communication and social growth and perceptual and emotional, which impedes learning and the acquisition of skills and abilities that enable him to deal with other. Statement of the problem: The Problem of the present study can be stated in the following question: Is it possible to improve social communication among a sample of high -functioning Children with Autism disorder through using circles friends strategy? Study Objectives: 1-The current study aims to provide a training program depending on circle of friends strategy is working to improve social communication among a sample of high functioning children with Autism. 2- Recognizing the effectiveness of the program that used in the present study. 3- Ensure the continued effectiveness of the program that used in the current study. Study Significance: The significance of the present study is divided into two sections: - Theoretical Importance: 1- Trying to prepare children with Autism category covers some of the behavioral, emotional and psychological characteristics. - The practical Importance: 1- Preparing a training program depending on circle of friends strategy to improve social communication among a sample of children with Autism. The Study Hypotheses: 1- There is a statistically significant difference between the ranks means of the Reassessment and post assessment of the experimental group on the Social Communication Scale in favor of the post assessment. 2- There is no statistically significant difference between the ranks means of the post assessment and follow-up assessment of the experimental group on the Social Communication Scale. The Limitations of the Study: The Study Sample: The sample of the present study consisted of four children with high functioning autism (age ranges from 5 to 8 years old). The Study Tools: 1)Behavioral manifestations inventory Prepared by /Hesham Al-Kholi. 2)Social Communication Scale for Children with Autism. Prepared by / Rania Kamal-Eldin, 2008. 3)Training Program Prepared by / the present researcher. The Statistic Method: -Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. -Matched- Pairs Rank. The Study findings: There is a statistically significant difference at the level of 0.05 between the ranks means of the Reassessment and post assessment of the experimental group on the Social Communication Scale in favor of the post assessment. There is no statistically significant difference between the ranks means of the post assessment and follow-up assessment of the experimental group on the Social Communication Scale. |
