Abstract The aim of this study is to evaluate the value of neutrophil lymphocyte ratio and platelet lymphocyte ratio as simple and cheap prognostic markers of the activity of systemic lupus disease. We compared results between patients and healthy controls.60 patients with SLE as (30 active cases and 30 in remission) and 30 healthy controls were enrolled .CBC ,liver functions, kidney functions , ANA . A.DNA. c3,c4, ESR and CRP were measured. Both NLR and PLR were positively correlated with known markers of activity .Our study showed that there was a positive correlation of NLR and PLR in patients of group A (active SLE) in relation to (ESR,CRP, ANA, A.DNA and SLEDAI Score). Moreover, there was a strong negative correlation in NLR and PLR in (active SLE) in relation to (Lymphocytes , C3 and C4) . |
