this study aims to shed lights on the buildings that had been constructed by Khedive Ismael during the nineteenth centuery, he succeeded to make modern egypt in the european style, thus egypt was known by scholars as eastern paris, the egyptian streets and provinces had been planned to be regulated, as he orderd to build schools, libararies, gardens, forests, theaters, bridges, railways, etc.. we couldnot deny khedeve’s interest in the religious buildings like mosques, as he built luxurious palaces for himself and for his family members. we couldnot ignore his role as we should be awarenss and inform people about the importance of these historical buildings and how to save it in addition to find and plan new strategies to develop it to be an appropriate touristic destination
