Abstract
Background: Stem cell therapy is considered as a golden type of therapy that can help us in the future to solve many problems that we suffer from them. We can use stem cell in treating many communication disorders as in autism, in vocal fold regeneration after atrophy and scar,stroke,brain damaged motory handicapped and traumatic brain injury .
Aim of the work: The aim of this study is to clarify the evidence base available around the effect of stem cell therapy in different communication disorders.
Clarification will be made by a systematic review of the evidence base of journals and abstracts in this topic area and looking at all designs of study. This is a preliminary step towards benefitting from these data in performing future studies in the same field.
Subjects and methods: We collected studies done on using stem cell in the previous communication disorders in the last 15 years in from 1-2002 until 3-2017 in Pub-med and e-medicine
Results: We extracted the information from the studies and the results were discussed to know stem cell effectiveness and safety.
Conclusion: Stem cell therapy is effective and safe in treating many symptoms of autism ,improve histology and morphology of vocal fold after atrophy and scar of vocal fold also stroke, brain damaged motory handicapped and traumatic brain injury
