Abstract Air pollution is a major threat to urban environments especially in the developing countries. This study aims to find the relation between urban morphology and road air pollutant concentration in urban environments using CFD approach. It also aims to identify crucial morphological variables related to road air pollutant concentration in such environments conditions . This study reports the different strengths of relationships between air pollutants and urban morphology and micro-meteorology, and identifies crucial morphological variables and their direct and indirect effects on road level air pollution that need more attention in order to reduce impacts. urban Morphology; Air Pollution; Traffic Emissions; Meteorological Conditions; Computational Fluid Dynamics ”CFD”. |
