Abstract
Our study included 60 females. Their ages ranged from 20 to 75 years with main age 48 years, the largest number of cases was between 50-60 years of age (33%) This study conducted at the Radiology Department of Mansoura University Hospital. The cases refered from Gynaecology and Obestetric Departement of Mansoura University. The studied cases were complaining of vaginal bleeding, dyspareunia, lower abdominal fullness. The vaginal bleeding was the commonest symptom in the studied cases (66.6%). The studied cases were divided into benign (34 cases) representing 56.6% and malignant cases (26 cases) representing 43.3%. The benign cases were divided into fibroid representing 43.3% followed by endometrial polyp, hyperplasia and adenomyosis representing 5% for each, followed by 1 case focal adenoma representing 1.6%. The malignant cases were divided into endometrial carcinoma (15 cases) representing 25% followed by cancer cervix (10 cases) representing 16.6% then leiomyosarcoma (1 case) representing 1.6% All cases were subjected to conventional MRI examination using T1WI, T2WI and fat suppression in different planes, post contrast study was done for fourteen cases. Diffusion weighted images using b values (0-500-1000 s/mm2) was done for all cases.
