Abstract
This chapter provides a short note about polymers and
molecular weight averages. In addition, light scattering theory in
the homogenous and inhomogeneous medium was discussed and
studied. This part focused on the treatment and the mathematical
derivation for weight average molecular weight of small and large
particle in an appropriate solvent. Also, show how to construct
Zimm plot, and use it to determine the scattering parameters:
weight average molecular weight Mw, radius of gyration RG, and
second virial coefficient A2.
