Abstract
Aim of the work: To study of the role of PET/CT in in detection of post-thyroidectomy recurrence in differentiated cancer thyroid patients having negative radio-isotope iodine scan & high serum thyroglobulin level.
Materials and Methods: The study incorporated 20 patients with previous history of differentiated cancer thyroid. All patients performed Serum Thyroglobulin level Estimation & entire body scan I-131 (WBS) examination & PET/CT study alluded from oncology specialist to Radiology Department. All patients in the study were subjected to history taking &revising the medical sheet.
