Abstract
The present work deals with phytochemical studies for
important plant under the title ”Isolation and Structure Elucidation
of Bioactive Chemical Constituents from Seriphidium herba-alba ’’
Seriphidium herba-alba (Asteraceae), fresh plant material
was air dried and ground to fine powder. The ground material was
transferred to a suitable flask and soaked in MeOH-CH2Cl2 (1:1) for
24 hours at room temperature. The extract was evaporated under
reduced pressure to give an oily residue.
