Abstract The present experimental study aimed to investigate the effect of the concentration of nanoparticles of AL2O3, TiO2 and CuO on the evaporating heat transfer coefficient using R-134a in the vapor compression cycle. Also, the experimental runs include effect of the heat flux ranged from 50 to 90 kW/m2 on the evaporating heat transfer coefficient for different values of nanoparticles concentration ranged from 0.1% to 0.7 % by weight. Excel sheet is used to compute the evaporating heat transfer coefficient at different values of nanoparticles concentrations and heat fluxes. Empirical correlation equations are deduced here to estimate the heat transfer coefficient as function of the heat flux for different values nanoparticles concentration |
