Abstract
The study showed that PVB provides better postoperative pain control, fewer opioids consumption and less postoperative nausea and vomiting. It demonstrated that a postoperative PVB is a feasible and effective method for an improved postoperative pain treatment after abdominal surgery. P value was < 0.001
