Abstract Due to the importance of anticancer agent contain the element ions especial transition element ions so the need to develop new complexes contain platinum and other transition elements that have anticancer activity. The presence work is assigned to study Interaction of New Platinum group Complexes with DNA. characterization of the new complexes of transition metal of the chelates (2-(2-amino phenyl)-1H-benzimidazole, Kojic acid with Zn(II), Mo(IV), Ru(II), Rh(II), Pd(II), Ag(I), Au(II), Pt(II) ions and in the absence and in the presence of secondary ligand like 2,2--bipridyl and triphenylphosphine . The described and the characterization of the new transition metal complexes using various spectroscopic (X-Ray, IR, (1H-13C, 31P) NMR, , mass, UV-vis, magnetic susceptibility thermal measurements, molar conductivity, and elemental analysis which confirmed the structures and the chemical formulas. The compositions and stability constants of the some prepared complexes were measured and Job’s and the molar ratio methods were applied to determine the composition complexes for use in the biological application. Tested the anticancer efficacy of the some isolated complexes against ovarian cancer. Studied the DNA interaction with some prepared complexes via UV-Visible spectroscopy and Gel electrophoresis. Studied the effect of (2-(2-amino phenyl)-1H-benzimidazole Pd(II) complexes on Chlorella vulgaris. |
