Abstract
Radionuclides are found naturally in air, water, soil and fertilizer. Soil is contain radioactivity in its component and fertilizer made from raw material that contain radioactivity. This radioactivity is arises some biological effects in human body that may be harmful to human. Activity concentrations of226R, 232Th and40K have been measured by gamma spectroscopy (high pure germanium, sodium iodide NaI (TI) detector) in fifty nine fertilizer samples and thirty one soil sample deposits samples collected from Qena governorate (Nine cities) to evakuste the environmental radioactivity and radiation hazard.
