Abstract
To assess the knowledge , perception and myths regarding infertility and suggest ways to improve it to strengthen fertility care through innovation and research .among patient and physician
Patient and Method:
Descriptive study :
Questionnaire to about 1000 infertile females and 200 doctors .
Main results :
Request for affordability of infertile management services
Request for continuous training of doctors for infertility management .
This study was conducted from January to June 2016 by descriptive study by a questionnaire formed of many question to number of doctors” G.P. and specialist ”Gynecologist and obstetrician ”. About 204 doctor from primary health care centers and some discrete hospitals and some private clinics. The majority of doctors were cooperative to my questionnaire to them and asking for more availability of infertility services on their work places and low coast of these services. Also they asking for continuous seminar and continuous their training for treatment of infertility especially on assisted reproductive technology. My questionnaire includes the timing of beginning of treatment of infertile females and what investigations and treatment should be done to infertile females.
Also this study includes number of infertile females from rural and urban area- about 1007 females. And the majority of them were cooperative to my questionnaire which was made of number of questions about their attitude towards infertility services in ELmimia government.
The majority of females hope to free or at least low coast of services especially on assisted reproductive technology. And they need more information about infertility and its management. The study was strong by cooperation of majority of doctors and females to my questionnaire but the weakness was on short time of study ”only six months .limited places ’ only on ELminia government ” Wish to be all over the country.
