المستخلص The aim of this study was to identify the factors that contributed to the low rate of the use of credit cards in A.R.E. despite of its importance as mean of settlement .The investigated factors included: demographics, intentions for use of credit cards, perceived financial cost, attitudes and supjective norms for use of conventional and islamic credit cards through analytic comparative study between conventional and islamic banks customers The study population included users and non users of credit cards, the studied sample comprised (505) customer (143 users ، 362 non- users ) who were surveyed using a specially designed questionnaire serving the study aim including five themes ( intentions to use ، perceived financial cost ، attitudes ،supjective norms ، demographic factors ) . The response rate was 84.16%. The used statistical methods are the t – test and logistic regression. The study results indicated that there are several factors which possibly contribute the low rate of use of the credit cards. Mainly: certain demographic factors (gender, marital status, and education), perceived financial cost which has a negative effect on the use of credit cards. And both of attitudes and supjective norms have a positive effect on the use of credit cards. |
