Abstract

The present study was carried out at a private poultry farm under supervision of Animal Production Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, during the period from Mars to April 2017. This study was carried out to study the influence of dietary Yeast supplementation on performance, some physiological parameters of broilers. A total of 420 one-day-old unsexed Hubbard broilers chicks were used in this experiment. Birds were wing-banded, individually weighed to the nearest gram, and randomly distributed into four experimental groups; with three replicates of 35 chicks each. The average initial body weights of the treatment groups were nearly similar with no significant differences. The basal diet was a commercial corn-soybean meal diet formulated to meet or exceed the nutritional requirement of growing chicks as recommended by the NRC (1994). Dietary treatments evaluated included: Cont. Basal diet without yeast supplementation Yeast 2 Basal diet supplemented with 2 gm yeast/Kg diet Yeast 3 Basal diet supplemented with 3 gm yeast/Kg diet Yeast 4 Basal diet supplemented with 4 gm yeast/Kg diet Measurements: 1- Performance Trails Body weight, weight gain, feed consumption, feed conversion ratio and mortality rate. 2- Biochemical Analysis of plasma Total protein, albumin, Globulin, aspartate transaminase (AST), alanine transaminase (ALT), triglyceride, total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol and LDL cholesterol. 3-Some Immunity Indicators Heamaaglutination inhibition test (HI), A/G and H/L.
