Abstract Nanotechnologies are new areas of research focusing on affecting matter at the atomic and molecular levels. It is beyond doubt that modern medical can benefit greatly from it; thus, nanomedical has become one of the main branches of nanotechnological research. The main objective of this PhD thesis introduces developed technic for biosensor and bio potential based on the most amazing nanomaterial, graphene oxide. GO was synthesized with hummer method modification. Then reduced GO was distributed by using nafion solution. Then the mature coated into carbon cloth to prepare urea detector. The second electrode was fabricated by mixing GO, polyvinyl alcohol and glycerol through esterification reaction to detect bio signal. characterization (Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, x-ray diffraction, and scanning electron microscopy) results proved that the ester bond was formed and complete distribution GO/G into the matrix of PVA. The GO/G/PVA nanocomposite was tested for electrocardiogram (ECG) electrodes. The biopac instrument was used to comparison between GO/G/PVA plastic electrode and commercial one. |
