The leastn umbero f isolatesw sa Pnileus mirdhili:t (3.4r/o).ImiFnemp rovedt o be the mosta clived rug against all testedg ram-positivea nd gram-negativei solatesfo llowedb y cephoperazone/sulbactum. Among all quinolones testd, trovafloxacin and/or ciprofloxacin exhibited good activity againstm ost tested strains.M ost isolatesw tErer esistantt o ampicillina ndp iperacillin,p lactamasep roductioni n penicillin resistant isolatesw ash ighly prevelanta mongi solateso f I’rolcus mirahilis (100%) followed by Pse*lononas aentginosa( 90.4%),S taphykrco,ccus auwus (77.8%\,E coli (73.7o/o)a,n dK lefuiellap neumonia(e7 1.4%)w hile no placamase productionw aso bservedin Slreptunwcu$p rwumonrue. |
