Abstract

This study was carried out on 90 mature males rats were divided into six equal groups each of 15. The results were summarized as follow: Effects of vit. E, norfloxacin, levofloxacin. On AST. The administration of levofloxacin in their therapeutics dose for 5 successive days to mature male rats induce increase significant change. Effects of vit. E, norfloxacin, levofloxacin. On ALT (IU/L) at 1st, 7th, 14th day post treatment: The administration of levofloxacin in their therapeutics dose for 5 successive days to mature male rats induce increase significant change. Effects of vit. E, norfloxacin, levofloxacin on ALP (U/L) at 1st, 7th, 14th day post treatment: The administration of (nor.+Vit.E) to mature male rats induced significant decrease change in their therapeutics dose G. III treated with norfloxacin and the administration of group (levo.+Vit.E) to mature male rats induced significant decrease change compared with G. IV treated with levofloxacin. Effects of vit. E, norfloxacin, levofloxacin .on total protein at 1st,7th, 14th day post treatment: The administration of (nor.+Vit.E) to mature male rats induced significant increase change in their therapeutics with G. III treated with norfloxacin only. And group (levo.+Vit.E) to mature male rats induced significant increase change in their therapeutics with G.IV treated with levofloxacin only. Effects of vit. E, norfloxacin, levofloxacin on albumin at 1st, 7th, 14th day post treatment: The administration of (nor.+Vit.E) to mature male rats induced significant increase change in their therapeutics dose with G. III treated with norfloxacin only. And the administration of group (levo.+Vit.E) male rats induced significant increase change with G.IV. Effects of vit. E, norfloxacin, levofloxacin .on globulin at 1st, 7th, 14th day post treatment: The administration of (nor. +Vit.E) to mature male rats induced nonsignificant change in their therapeutics dose with group III and group IV. Effects of vit. E, norfloxacin, levofloxacin. on total A/G ratio(%) at 1st, 7th, 14th day post treatment: The administration of (nor. +Vit.E) to mature male rats induced significant increase change in their therapeutics dose compared with group III treated with norfloxacin only. And the administration of group (levo. + Vit.E) to mature male rats with G.IV. Effects of vit. E, norfloxacin, levofloxacin .on bilirubin (mg/dl) at 1st, 7th, 14th day post treatment: The administration of (nor.+Vit.E) to mature male rats induced significant decrease change in their therapeutics dose compared with group III with norfloxacin only, and group (levo.+Vit.E) to mature male rats induced significant decrease change compared with group IV Effects of vit. E, norfloxacin, levofloxacin on Direct bilirubin (mg/dl) at 1st, 7th, 14th day post treatment: The administration of (nor.+Vit.E) to mature male rats induced significant decrease change in their therapeutics dose compared with group III with norfloxacin, and the administration of group (levo.+Vit.E) with group IV with levofloxacin. Effects of vit. E, norfloxacin, levofloxacin .on indirect bilirubin (mg/dl) at 1st, 7th, 14th day post treatment: The administration of (nor.+Vit.E) to mature male rats induced significant decrease change in their therapeutics dose compared with group III with norfloxacin, and group (levo.+Vit.E) to mature male rats induced significant decrease change group IV with levofloxacin. Effect on Kidney functions: Effects of vit. E, norfloxacin, levofloxacin on Urea (mg/dl) at 1st, 7th, 14th day post treatment. The administration of (nor.+Vit.E) to mature male rats induced significant decrease change in their therapeutics dose compared with group III treated with norfloxacin and the administration of group (levo.+Vit.E) to rats induced significant decrease change compared with group IV treated with levofloxacin. Effects of vit. E, norfloxacin, levofloxacin on creatinine (mg/dl) day post treatment: The administration of (nor.+Vit.E) to mature male rats induced significant decrease change in their therapeutics dose compared with group III treated with norfloxacin only. Histopathological Effect of norfloxacin and vitamin E on liver. liver section of rats treated with levofloxacin and vitamin E showing slight congestion and marked regeneration hepatocytes as control one. Histopathological Effect of norfloxacin and levofloxacin on kidney. kidney section of rats treated with norfloxacin showing severe congestion, perivascular edema, interstitial mononuclear cell infiltration with vacuolization and casts, while kidney section of rats treated with levofloxacin showing collapsed glomeruli ,vacuolization in the epithelial lining of renal tubules.
