المستخلص study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a program, based on Self- support for the improvement of the life quality of basic education stage teachers and identify the continuity of the effectiveness after the cessation of application of the program. The sample of the study consisted of (46) male and female teachers of the basic education stage, divided into two equal groups as follows: the first is an experimental group: consisted of (23) male and female teachers. The second group is a control group consisting consisted of (23) female and male teachers. The researcher used the scale of teacher life quality (prepared by the researcher) and a program based on self-support (prepared by the researcher). She adopted the semi-experimental. The statistical methods were represented in Pearson correlation coefficient, t- tests for independent samples, and one-way analysis of variance for repeated measurements in order to test hypotheses validity. The results of the study showed that there are differences between the average scores of the experimental group and the average scores of the control group in the post- test of life quality scale in both (total score- dimensions) for the basic education teachers in favor of the experimental group. Also there are differences between the average scores among the experimental group members in the measurements of (pre, post, and follow- up) tests for the scale of life quality (dimensions- total score) for the basic education teachers in favor of the follow- up test. |
