المستخلص
The study examined the means of modern communication technology and its relation to public relations activities in Libyan universities. The study sample consisted of (8) public relations employees from Benghazi University , 9 public relations staff from the University of Omar al-Mukhtar, 5 public relations employees from the University of Tobruk). The sample of the study on Libyan university students was divided equally between the three universities (135 students from Benghazi University, Tar, 135 students from the University of Tobruk).The results of the study showed the effective role of public relations with the students in the university in which they joined. There are many communication activities carried out by the Department of Public Relations with the students. The results of the study indicated that the means of modern technology in public relations facilitated the process of vertical communication between the administration of the university and its students. Continuous follow-up of students’ comments and changes, thus improving the communicative performance of the university with its students.
