Abstract

In this Thesis the internal, external and the thermal stresses been studied each one individually then a combined analysis was carried out using Finite Element by ANSYS. The maximum deformation, thermal distribution, stresses in the three main directions and von Mises stress were calculated. Then it realized that the thermal isolation is doing a great job in isolating the inner layer from the outside temperature. In addition, the fatigue that resulting from the environmental forces has been studied to get the number of the maximum cycle lifetime. It was found the pipeline will withstand the environmental and operational conditions.
