Abstract

n our thesis we have proposed the idea of using parallel processing to simulate biological systems modeled colored CON There are three main types of simulation continuous stochastic and hybrid simulation. Petri nets are a tool that manages system components in a graphical manner. There are two levels of Theseus low-level and high-level Petri nets. We are interested in CON and its high-level version. CON is suitable for large biological systems. It analyses biological systems by using a system of ODES. where system components are converted into a set of Odes and the solution of these Odes is the simulation result of the system. However simulations of these nets are very slow. We present a parallel approach to enhance the simulation of colored CON Our methodology depends on two main rapprochement partitioning algorithm and parallel algorithm. The partitioning algorithm divides CPS into smaller low level Petri nethermost each place is represented by an ODE. Parallel algorithm solves all Odes synchronizer over a number of processors and produce simulation result. Afterwards we applied our parallel algorithm to a biological case study diffusional systems that are characterized by its slow simulation when it is executedcontinuously. Finally, we recorded the result of our method and the simulation runtime is obviously improved
