المستخلص
This study aims at recognizing the qualities of rural immigrants to work in the industrial field in the urban society, and also recognizing the types of social, physical and economic adaptation of the these immigrants with the requirements of the industrial work on one hand and the nature of the urban life on the other. It also aims at recognizing the relationship of this adaptation the standard of productive effiency.
To achieve the aims of the study the researcher depend on the methodology of sample social survey. The researcher also adopts the comparative through two groups of industrial workers one representing the rural industrial workers who emigrate to the city of Beni – suef. This group consists of 148 workers. The second group represents the urban workers of non – emigrants, consists of 72 workers.
The necessary data was collected via a number of methodological tools. Such as the questionnaire, direct observation, and analysis of documents of the industrial establishment under study.
The Findings of the study proved the following academic hypotheses:
1- Immigration is a selective process.
2- The break down of the family is the most important problems arising from a lock of social adaptation of rural industrial emigrants.
3- The existence of relatives and friends from the home country of the immigrants considered one of the most important factors that help them to adapt socially in the industrial field.
4- A adaptation with the family and family relations is the most important aspects of social adaptation of rural industrial workers.
5- Adaptation with dwelling in the most important aspects of physical adjustment of rural industrial workers.
6- Rural immigrants adjustment with the work problems is one of the important aspects of their adjustment with requirement of industrial work.
7- Failure to adapt with the problems of industrial work leads to the reduction of productive efficiency.
