Abstract
This prospective, randomized, double blinded study was performed in Women Health Hospital, Assiut University, Faculty of Medicine (July 2016-August 2017), after obtaining approval from the local ethics committee on 10 July 2016 and registered in ClinicalTrials.gov ID: NCT02716129 with initial release 15 March 2016.
-About demographic data there were non significance differences between groups as p value > 0.05.
-About Gynacological data there were non significance difference between two groups in each of parity & CS duration (P>0.05).
-About HR there were non significance difference between two groups in different time (P>0.05).
-About systolic & Diastolic blood pressure there were non significance difference between two groups with different time (P>0.05). But there was a significant difference (P<0.001) at time 4.
-About MBP there were non significance difference between two groups with different time (P>0.05).
-About respiratory rate there were significance difference between two groups at time 0, 1,2,4,6;12 and 24 (P<0.001).
-About VAS there were no change between two groups at different time.
- About onset sensory blocked there were significant difference (P<0.001) between two groups with higher in group 1. Also about onset complete m.block there were significance difference (P<0.001) . As regard about highest sensory block & duration sensory block there were significance difference (P<0.05) between groups. But there were insignificant difference (P>0.05) between groups with duration of m.block.
-About complication there were significant difference between G1&G2 with complication (P<0.000) with highly percentage in G2 in itching & Nausea.
-About PDPH ) there were non significance difference between two groups (P>0.05) .
