Abstract The present work aims to synthesize and characterize new ternary complexes derived from p-aminophenol and anthranilic acid with Mn(II), Co(II) and Cd(II) ions, ternary complexes derived from salicylic acid and anthranilic acid with Fe(III) and Cr(III). In addition to the metal complexes derived from anthraanilic acid with Co(II) and Ni(II). To know more about these compounds, some studies as optical, thermal properties, solvation, refractive index and adsorption of methylene blue were done. To shed light on the applications of these compounds, these complexes were used as molecular precursors of CdO, Fe2O3, Cr2O3 and NiO nanoparticles by thermal decomposition route. These nanoparticles have wide applications in modern industries especially its application in adsorption of hazard materials. |
