Abstract The present study was performed to find out the possibility of taking all the benefits of Natural Product (Basil) during making soft drinks products. Many studies have proved that basil have many natural and healthy benefits , and here are the top ten healthy benefits of basils (Treats Common Colds - Relieves Cough - Boost Immune System - Stress Buster-Improves Vision - Prevents Acne – Enhances Oral Health- Eliminates Kidney Stones - Cures Stomach Problems - Relieves Headache).Our study showed the effects of addition sweet basil as natural flavour on soft drinks instated of chemical flavouring due to its high amount of natural phenolic compounds . This study also cleared the possibility of utilization of sweet basil in processing soft drinks Also,studying the effects of using sweet basil on chemical, physical properties and the quality characteristics of processed soft drinks were evaluated . |
