Abstract

Objectives : in this study we used ultraviolet radiation ( UV) in the treatment of soft drink on the microbial side , Ultraviolet radiation are used in the manufacture of soft drink beverages have A disincentive effect on the microbes which found in soft drinks and reduce microbial contamination Methodes & Resultes : Effect of UV radiation on survival of microorganisms on water , Effect of UV radiation on survival of microorganisms in soft drink with different time in (Lemon taste & Orange taste) , Effect of UV radiation on survival of microorganisms in soft drink with different Thickness of exposed layers in (Lemon taste & Orange taste) . We can say that Ultraviolet radiation effectively reduces the microbial population for soft drink where direct exposure takes place. Concluion : We can say that Ultraviolet radiation effectively reduces the microbial population for soft drink where direct exposure takes place, However, several conditions must be present for the disinfectant quality of ultraviolet ligh t to be reliably effective , Ultraviolet disinfection requires source water of sufficient clarity, Ultraviolet disinfection requires source Raw materials of sufficient clarity which inter in main Industrial processes for soft drink, The time of exposure to Ultraviolet radiation (retention time) is directly related to effective of destroying foodborne pathogens in soft drink,The color of soft drink which exposure to ultraviolet light is directly related to effective of destroying foodborne pathogens in soft drink.
