Abstract

Bisphenol A is an estrogen-like substance with similar properties, which raises concern about its suitability in some consumer products and food containers, The present study has attempted to investigate the effects of oral bisphosphonol intake in pregnant mice. Sixty (60) females of white eggs weighing 180 ± 20 g, about 4 months old, and ten (10) male male Alpine males weighing 250-300 g were approximately 5 months old from the Animal Experimentation Unit, Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, the animals were clinically healthy. The animals were placed in plastic cages with wood carpentry as mattresses and temperature (23 ± 1 ° C, 12 hour light and 12 hour dark cycle). The mice were fed to the standard laboratory diet and water. The animals were subjected to our laboratory condition for 2 weeks before the experiment began Pregnancy day was determined by daily examination of vaginal examination of female rats Sixty-six (36) pregnant women were obtained, then randomly divided into 3 groups 12 each. The first group is the control group, which was given orally 0.5 ml of olive oil through the stomach tube from 6 to 15 days of pregnancy. The second group was given by mouth 25 micrograms pesphinol / kg of mouse weight by the stomach tube from 6 to 15 days of pregnancy. The third group was given 50 micrograms pesphinol / kg of mouse weight by the stomach tube from 6 to 15 days of pregnancy. The mice were placed under daily observation until the 20th day of pregnancy Blood samples were collected from the tropical retrograde plexus using a thin capillary tube.
