Abstract This within subject clinical study was conducted on a group of 12 completely edentulous patients and was aimed to clinically compare between three different attachment types of two implant retained mandibular overdenture opposing conventional maxillary complete denture regarding patient bite force using bite force transducer Conclusion:1. Implant retained overdenture recorded significant higher patient satisfaction than complete denture. 2. Regardless of attachment used no significant difference in patient bite force was noted between tested attachment Implant retained overdentures in patients with atrophied mandibular ridge improved all parameters patient bite force compared to conventional dentures regardless the type of attachments used. |
