I- Aim of the work
The work aimed to prepare and characterize a new ten hydroxy ether compounds derived from sodium salt of p-hydroxy methyl benzoate hoping to explore some effective compounds to be used in treatment of some microbial diseases.
II- Introduction
This chapter includes an overview of previous researches for Schiff base and hydrazone compounds and their application.
III- Experimental This chapter contains the chemical and instruments used in
Practical part of thesis as follow:
1) Preparation of compounds.
2) characterization of the compounds using:
Physical techniques such as molar conductance and melting point.
Elemental analyses (C, H, N and Cl).
Spectral techniques as IR, 1HNMR and mass spectra.
3) Measurement of antimicrobial activity.
