The subject of this study is study of the socio-economic changes and cultural transformations that took place in the Nile Delta before the emergence of the Egyptian state in the early third century BC. This site was dated according to the discovered pottery, whether it was a complete pottery vessel or just a pottery fragment. The importance of this study is in an attempt to identify the importance of this site in understanding the problems associated with the development of prehistoric societies in this period. Region and the emergence of the unified state in Egypt, this study is trying to provide an accurate and precise description of what the site was in the prehistoric and later eras, where he presented the Tell El iswid sequence in time covered the entire fourth millennium. The study of ancient societies such as the Tell El iswid Society is one of many difficulties. These difficulties are due to the scarcity of documentation of these studies in prehistoric times, and most of the available information related to this site was detailed reports on excavation work only. The reports are mainly the result of brief excavations. However, few of them provide us with important and real information on the standard of living of the people who lived in that period and their social status. Such information also refers to the customs of these peoples and their funerary practices of burial rites. We will try, through available data, to build realistic social and religious information Linked to the Tell El iswid community, by studying the Tell El iswid dunes, reflecting the impact of the economic aspects on the social and religious life of the Tell El iswid community, in addition to attempting to provide information on social growth in the Nile Delta in the pre-familial period, This study highlights the basic features of economic life in Egypt during prehistoric times, and will review the economic conditions that prevailed before the emergence of the first state in history. Religious beliefs had a great influence on the inhabitants of the Tell El iswid, and this was reflected in burial customs in terms of placing funeral furniture with the deceased. Thus, there were religious beliefs that were tangible in the burial rituals and the associated religious feeling of the ancient Egyptian and social man. There is a great difference between the graves of men and women, and the inhabitants of the Tell El iswid are interested in burying their children. Therefore, this study provides an explanation of the social form in these societies and also illustrates the customs and economic conditions of the peoples of these religious communities. The objective of this study is to attempt to present a comprehensive study on the Tell El iswid according to an analytical and descriptive method of analysis. This chapter should be divided into three chapters in addition to an introduction and a conclusion highlighting the most important results.
