Abstract

The thesis consists of 185 pages and comprises 41 tables, 50 figures and 189.
The thesis consists of four parts :
<Part I :
This part contains a general introduction about the chemical names, structures, physical properties, pharmacological actions, uses and literature reviews for their reported methods of analysis.
Part II : This part dealt with the analysis of the newly approved complex of valsartan and Sacubitril using spectrofluorimetric and spectrophotometric methods.
Chapter 1:
This chapter aimed at the determination of Valsartan and Sacubitril in their tablets. First derivative spectrofluorimetric method was developed.
<Chapter 2:
This study aimed at the estimation of Valsartan and Sacubitril in their tablets using second derivative, convolution after first derivative and first derivative ratio spectrophotometric methods.
<Part III:
<This part dealt with thechromatographic analysis of VAL and SAC either in presence of their degradation products through stability indicating method or in presence of SAC related substance.
<Chapter 1:
<This chapter described stability-indicating method for the determination of LCZ696using HPLC-DAD method. The method was applied to the kinetic investigation of SAC.
<Chapter 2:
This chapter analyze VAL and SAC along with SAC related substance by using HPTLC and HPLC with two different detectors.
<Part IV:
This part dealt with the electrochemical determination of selected drugs in their biological fluids using hanging mercury electrode.
Chapter 1:
Valsartan (VAL) can be analyzed at mercury electrode in the presence of nickel (II) permitting the analysis of VAL in its pharmaceutical formulation and human urine.
Chapter 2:
Differential pulse polarographic method has been developed for determination of dantrolene sodium and indomethacin in rat plasma
