The Summary of Study
First: The problem of study:
All countries seek to take care of the human element to contribute effectively to the development process in the belief that progress is not achieved in a society that seeks to achieve its objectives without regard to the human element in all its categories in various fields. Despite this concern, there are many issues and problems that need concerted efforts to address them and finding appropriate solutions. Among these issues or problems facing the society is the spread of some negative behaviors and values between students and schoolchildren recently due to technological progress and knowledge. Of all officials and those interested in intervening to face such negatives that may hinder the desired development process , on the basis that the human element, including students and school children of the most important resources of society, which must be cared for and care and overcome the problems in order to be able to effectively play its role in development activities in society. Development in general and human development in particular are the main axes, the human element is the end and the means, and the axes that depend on the development and deal with the human schools, including middle schools, as educational institutions concerned with preparing the human and address the problems and attention to issues, to become a good citizen , on the basis that man is the center of development in any society.
The political, economic, cultural and social changes experienced by the Egyptian society (such as the changes that resulted from the January 2011 and July 2013 revolutions), especially the social changes that led to some negative changes in the values of the society in general and the pupils in middle schools in particular, This requires the officials in the fields of education to develop plans and programming that can counter the negative values spread among students and the development of positive values.
Positive values give the owner a prominent place in his community as long as the decorations in the different areas of life as it indicates the characteristics of the student qualities that make it worthy of appreciation a lot or a little, which are also important principles and standards for all people and required to achieve, a positive behavioral expectations And preferences recognized and recognized by society.
This requires interested and all different scientific disciplines and professions to face negative values and behaviors and develop positive values that are in line with our identity and culture. Among these professions and scientific disciplines is the profession of social work in general and the generalist practice of social work in particular as a perspective and direction and a modern entrance in social service, With the problems and negative attitudes that resulted from human interaction with the environment and its components and the negative changes that occurred, which is also a method or method applied by the specialist in the practice of social work in social situations and problems, with Dependence on planning and scientific style, intervention with related customer patterns, customer attention and needs.
Therefore, the researcher is interested in conducting this study in order to confront negative values and behaviors among students and develop their positive values through planning and implementing a program applied to the study group, the experimental group. This program is designed in light of the theoretical and professional foundations of general practice in social work ,thus contributing to the achievement of this objective
The generalist practice of social work is one of the latest trends in the social worker’s focus on human problems and needs through an organized set of professional intervention steps to solve the problem by focusing on the continuum of patterns to represent an interactive approach to the practice of social work away from its traditional style based on a specific method. To adhere to the generalist practice of social work with the pupils to develop their positive values.
It is through this perspective or the direction and the basis of knowledge, value, ethics and skill, and also through its strategy and techniques can face some of these negatives and turn them from negative to positive, the negative that spread among many people, especially young people, including pupils in general and pupils of preparatory education In particular, these negatives can be addressed in the planning and implementation of some programs and activities by the pupils of the junior high school under the supervision, guidance and assistance of the school social worker as general practitioner, which includes in their content the development of values and positive behaviors of pupils.
Through the application of the scientific foundations and values and skills of generalist practice of social work as well as professional foundations, including strategies, tactics, techniques, skills and professional roles to develop the positive behavioral values of pupils in preparatory schools.
Therefore, our interest in the development of positive values among students in the preparatory stage, where the school became an educational institution with social goals, and values contribute effectively to achieve the desired development, because it affects the development and affected by, bearing in mind three important issues:
- Each culture has its distinctive character and unique characteristics that vary from community to society.
- Values are a product of economic, social and political reality, and reflect the nature of the relations of production prevailing in society and therefore we can expect the form and content of change in values.
- The format of values is one of the most important components of cultural awareness of members of society.
In light of the above, we can formulate the problem of the study in the following question:
Is it possible through professional intervention to the perspective of generalist practice in social work, ”Can a professional intervention program be designed according to scientific and professional foundations (theories, models, scientific approaches, strategies, skills, techniques and professional roles) to the perspective of generalist practice of social work pupils of preparatory school. ?
Second: - The importance of the study:
- Contribute to face what we see and see the negative behaviors and values alien to our Egyptian society.
- It is possible to use the scientific and professional foundations of the generalist practice of social work to deal with the class of students with negative values that cause concern for the family, school and society.
- The preparatory stage includes an age stage of the most important stages in the life of the student and the formation of personality, and it is easy to know negative values and behaviors and deal with them.
- The interest of the Ministry of Education and society as a whole in confronting negative behaviors and values- Emphasize on activating the role of the school in providing students with all that contributes to the development of their values and positive behaviors.
Urge specialists to pay attention to the programs and activities of students in schools that contribute to the development of their positive values
- The interest of the general practice social service by giving students the characteristics of good citizenship, including positive values.
- Most of the previous studies that were presented in the problem of the study confirmed that students in the preparatory stage can be raised properly if they are treated better.
Third: - Objectives of the study:
The objective of the study is to achieve the main objective is:
”Developing positive values among middle school students.”
This objective can be achieved by achieving the following sub-goals:
1- Developing the value of cooperation among preparatory school pupils (members of the study group).
2 - Developing the value of the secretariat of the pupils preparatory schools (members of the study group)
3 - Development of the value of honesty among students in preparatory schools (members of the study group)
4. Developing the value of loyalty among middle school pupils (members of the study group)
5 - Developing the value of responsibility for pupils in preparatory schools (members of the study group)
Fourth: The study hypotheses:
The study attempts to validate the main hypothesis of the present study:
It is expected that there will be significant statistical differences between pre and post measurement in favor of professional intervention of generalist practice in social work and development of positive values the preparatory school students.
After validating the following sub-hypotheses:
A- It is expected that there will be significant statistical differences between pre- and post-measurement in favor of professional intervention of generalist practice in social work and development of cooperation value among the preparatory school students.
B- It is expected that there will be significant statistical differences between pre and post measurement in favor of the professional intervention of generalist practice in social work and the development of the positive value trust among the preparatory school students.
C- It is expected that there will be significant statistical differences between pre- measurement and telemetry in favor of professional intervention of generalist practice in social work and development of the value of honesty among pupils in preparatory schools.
D- It is expected that there will be significant statistical differences between pre-measurement and post-measurement in favor of professional intervention of general practice in social work and the development of the value of belonging among pupils in preparatory schools.
E- It is expected that there will be significant statistical differences between pre and post measurement in favor of the professional intervention of the general practice in social work and the development of the value of taking responsibility among the pupils of preparatory schools.
Fifth: Concepts of the study:
- The concept of professional intervention
- The concept of generalist practice of social work
- The concept of positive values
Sixth: Methodological Procedures for the Study:
1- Type of the study:
Based on the study problem and in line with its objectives, the type of study was determined in the type of ”semi-experimental” studies. The current study aims to determine the nature of the relationship between two variables, one independent (experimental variable) ) Is the development of positive values among pupils in the preparatory stage, through an intermediate variable, the members of the experimental group of pupils in the preparatory stage.
2- Methodology used:
In this study, the researcher used the experimental method, which is one of the methods used in the studies of the measurement of the return of the professional intervention and the test of the study hypotheses. The study used the experimental design by means of the post-tribal measurement of two groups, one experimental and the other one of the students of the preparatory school. 3- Tools of the Study: The present study is based on the following research tools:
A) A measure of the development of positive values for students in the preparatory stage, from (14-15) years of ”preparation by the researcher”, which is the main tool in this study.
B - Semi-standard interviews with experts and those interested in educational, social and psychological.
C- The Records.
(D) Simple scientific observation.
E- Quantitative and qualitative analysis using statistical methods and programs appropriate to the nature of the study.
4 - Fields of the study:
(A) Spatial field of study:
The study was implemented at Abd el Halim Ghaith School for Basic Education - Second Seminar ”Preparatory Stage” - Youssef Al Sddiq Center - Fayoum Governorate
(B) The Human domain :
The study was applied to a sample of the students of the school (the field of study) and the number of (30) students in grades two and three preparatory, ages (14-15) year, according to several conditions
• The Sample Conditions:
• Boys only boys from the second and third class
• The Pupils of the second year (14) year
• The Pupils must be) 15 (years old
• Not to be returned
• That parents live together (not separated or deceased, etc.)
• Pupils should be fairly homogeneous at all levels
To be among the Pupils with negative values and behaviors, according to the observations of those who deal with them in the school (teachers - social-administrative - social workers and fellow Pupils) through the results of the survey to identify the students the most negative values, The most appropriate pupils were: (Non-cooperation - lying and dishonesty - lack of honesty - lack of loyalty and belonging to the school and the homeland - who evades responsibility)
- Who obtained the highest drills on the scale of the study for negative values and behaviors ”negative responses, during the first and second application of the scale to calculate the degree of stability of the scale”
C) Time domain:
The study lasted approximately two years and approximately four months, including:
- Preparation of the theoretical framework: from 1/3/2006 to 15/9/2018
- Field Framework: from 22/9/2018 - 30/6/2019, which includes the following:
• Preparation of the main tool for the study ”a measure of the
• Prepare a professional intervention program to achieve the objectives of the study
• Scale arbitration, stability and honesty of the scale, and arbitration of the program of professional intervention

Sixth: the results of the study:
1. There were no statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups in the Tribal measurement between two groups (before the professional intervention with the experimental group) whereas ) T ( The Calculated < Calculations
2. There are statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups in the Dimensional measurement of the two groups (after the professional intervention with the experimental group only), whereas ) T ( The Calculated > Calculations .

* Thus, all the hypotheses and objectives of the proposed study, which have already been mentioned, have been achieved.
