Abstract

from the results obtained it can be concluded that Annona plants (squamosa, atemoya and cherimolia) can grow in different sites in Egypt (Monofia, Giza, Alexandria and Mansoura). The fruits of Annona (squamosa, atemoya, and cherimolia) are rich in the basic nutrients as they contain high concentrations from carbohydrates, proteins, minerals, vitamin C, folic acid and other nutrients which are necessary for human health, which can give a new insight for its use as dietary supplement. The climate has a vital effect on the fruits and other parts components through these results; it is possible to determine the suitable conditions for growing that gives the best results. Inedible parts of different Annona species in different sites in Egypt (Menoufia, Giza, Alexandria, and Dakahlia) contain high concentrations of phenolic compounds, antioxidants and vitamins that can be used in various medical fields. The in vivo study evaluated the medicinal impact of the Annona species seeds grown in Menoufia as they can be harnessed in human treatment where the results showed the efficiency of their seed extracts, especially the Annona squamosa, in improving kidney function of rat whose efficacy was affected by exposure to toxicity from use of IFO as a cancer treatment.
