Abstract The present research was carried out to study the nutritional motherhood knowledge, attitude, behavioral, and environmental risk factors that influence vitamin D status for first grade university female students. One hundred and twenty five First grade university apparently healthy female youth among those attending Helwan University were randomly selected and a written . consent was obtained. They were subjected to: Anthropometric assessment: weight and height were obtained and body mass index (BMI) calculation was calculated according to Quetelet formula. Dietary assessment: 24 hours dietary recall, the intervention nutrition education program, food pattern and diet history was used. The energy and nutrient content of the 24 hour was computed through the food composition table of the National Nutrition Institute. The nutritional value of foods and beverages consumed was also compared to the recommended dietary allowances ”RDAs” . • Descent and personal data : Dressing type whether completely or partially covering body, skin hue, and questions related to sun-exposure, pesticide exposure, and vitamin intake last 2 weeks. |
