This study aims to show the possibility of implementing the policy of producing alternatives to imports in the manufacturing sector to promote the industrial sector Manufacturing to promote the Egyptian industry and provide local products of intermediate and investment commodities that can compete with foreign products In the domestic and global market, The results included the importance of the import substitution strategy in promoting domestic production. But it has to stay a step for a while and then we move on to the manufacturing strategy for export. It also has forward and back links with other industries, which contributes to the modernization of the industry in general. The descriptive analytical approach was used to describe the current situation of the Egyptian industrial sector and to develop a strategy for the advancement of this sector. That manufacturing industries are the best types of industries that contribute to the production of modern products have a great domestic demand . The study recommends the need to develop the electronics sector in Egypt by working to attract foreign direct investment and create an economic and political environment attractive to investment. In addition to facilitating business in host countries in terms of tax and customs policy, The study also recommends the need to develop the plastics sector in Egypt and raise awareness among citizens of the value of plastics and the importance of recycling and provide support to investors in this sector.
