Abstract

Objectives: To study the impact of organic fertilization and polymers application on growth and productivity of potato under water stress conditions. Methods & Results: The experiments were conducted with potato CV. Cara in a private farm at meet zonkor village, Talkha, Dakahlia Governorate the design of experiment was split-split plot system in randomized complete blocks with three replicates to study the effect of 3 water irrigation water (800, 1200, 1600 m3 /Fed), Compost (0 and 7.5 ton/Fed) and polymer (0, 10, 20, 30kg/fed) on Growth and productivity of potato CV. Cara. Conclusion: Drip irrigation with 1200 m3 and dual application of compost (7.5 ton/Fed) and polymer (30 kg/Fed) is recommended for potato to maximize the yield and decreased water requirements by 25% as compared to a common irrigation practice (1600m3 /Fed).
