Abstract In this thesis, the overall objective is to present an evaluation framework that construction contractors can use to assess project performance during the construction phase to analyze the performance of the contractor’s cash flow metrics and indicators. The model is developed, which includes both the planning and the controlling cash flow of contractors in an automatic model to meet the needs of contributors, particularly contractors and the financing from the client during the project execution process. Because this new model uses some measurements and indicators of the earned value, the earned value analysis is first briefly recalled. The measurements and indicators of the new comprehensive model that included expenses, income metrices, and net cash flow conditions will then be introduced, followed by a few of the associated exhibits and graphs that could visualize the financial value status of the project implementation. Finally, after two case studies, projects to illustrate the use of the model, the potential benefits gained are presented. |
